Hiller sign

After the Celebration of Life – I took this video outside.
Seems very different to see Lorne’s name up there – but remember – he is looking down on us all–smiling!

Liz Rogers OMG! Fred you are awesome! Lanie asked me if I wanted Lorne’s name on the sign. I had NO idea that was what she meant. Thank you for filming that!! That’s definitely a keeper.

Patti Andrews Like. But it also made me burst into tears when I saw that unexpectedly on my way in last night.

Rainbow Tsang Seeing these alphabets in this particular order at work for so many years, now seeing this at this situation, brought me to tears.

Quest Richlife I didn’t know that it had been up there all night. Aleta pointed it out to me when I walked her to her car after the Memorial. I got all choked up and had to turn away from the sign. I’m sure Lorne would’ve got a big kick seeing his name in lights! It’s so sad that it had to be this way, though. I’ll miss ya, buddy, and all the great times we had together, and the ones we only dreamed of. Happy landings.

Frederick Williams Thanks folks – when I arrived at the Celebration, I took a look at the sign before pulling in the driveway and was kind of saddened, too. In a big sentimental way. After the event – I missed my turn off the 101 (don’t laugh) as I was reminiscing about our flights in the 90’s and early 2000s.
